Our Story – Part One

As a family owned business we take the relationship with our customers seriously. We are a five generation family and Veteran-owned small business led by three partners: Brent Edward Goldsmith and his two sons, Brent Ryan Goldsmith and Collin Goldsmith. While Warrior Plumbing and Heating was founded in 2017, our history dates back to 1935. As we continue to build relationships with each of our customers, we wanted to thank you for being our customers and take the opportunity to introduce ourselves to you on a deeper level.

This series is not solely about us. It is about you, our esteemed customers, who have stood by us, referred us to your friends and neighbors, and entrusted us with your plumbing needs. Humble Beginnings

The legacy of Warrior Plumbing and Heating traces back to Wallis Plumbing, founded by Phillip Wallis Goldsmith in 1935. The business was passed down through generations, from Phillip Wallis Goldsmith Jr. (Wally) to Frank Goldsmith, and finally to Brent Edward, Frank’s son. Although Brent Edward initially had different career aspirations, he discovered his true calling in the family business, bringing his own talents and values learned through mentorship.

In 2005, Brent Edward established Brent E. Goldsmith, Inc., embracing technology and delivering exceptional plumbing and heating services. In 2010, Brent Edward’s oldest son, Brent Ryan, joined the company, injecting a fresh perspective and rapidly advancing in the field. In 2017, Collin, Brent Edward’s youngest son and a Marine Corps veteran, joined forces to form Warrior Plumbing and Heating, showcasing resilience and dedication. Today, Warrior Plumbing and Heating proudly serves the Baltimore area, offering a comprehensive range of plumbing, heating, remodeling, and 24/7 emergency services.

Powerful Partners

Within Warrior Plumbing and Heating, the partners Brent Edward, Brent Ryan, and Collin Goldsmith each fulfill unique and vital roles. Brent Edward utilizes his extensive knowledge to train the team and ensure the delivery of high-quality work to residential and commercial customers. He also handles critical tasks such as project proposals and customer communication. Brent Ryan works directly in the field, assisting customers and ensuring smooth operations. He also manages administrative responsibilities and promptly resolves unexpected issues. Collin serves as the general contractor, overseeing various aspects of the business, from employee payroll to customer communication. He prioritizes customer needs and ensures a seamless experience with Warrior.

The partners collaborate effectively, leveraging their diverse expertise and engaging in open discussions to address challenges. They value their harmonious relationship and acknowledge its significant contribution to the businesses success. The partners admire each other’s dedication and unique skills, which have played pivotal roles in shaping the business. They also hold immense admiration for Collin’s resilience and sacrifices as a Marine Veteran.

Mission and Vision

At Warrior Plumbing and Heating, we seek to be different from other plumbing businesses. Our priority is customer care and transparency, offering multiple options to help customers save money and empowering them to address issues themselves where possible. Unlike sales-oriented companies, we prioritize customer preferences and foster long-term relationships based on trust and satisfaction. We go the extra mile by leaving homes cleaner than when we arrived and treating customers like family. Our mission is to set a new industry standard. 

In addition to our plumbing services, we are committed to giving back to the Veteran community through our Help a Warrior program. We provide free plumbing and heating services to Veterans in need, emphasizing genuine care and compassion without expecting Veterans to share personal stories in exchange for assistance. We strive to create an environment where Veterans feel comfortable seeking help and receive the support they deserve. We also value family and aim to build a lasting legacy, whether through the involvement of the sixth generation of the Goldsmith family or by supporting the growth and success of our dedicated team members. We prioritize a measured approach to business growth and strive to maintain our reputation as a respected company that serves the community and delivers honest solutions.

We are immensely proud of our team as a cohesive unit dedicated to delivering exceptional results to our customers. Being recognized as “The Best of Baltimore” in 2010, 2021, and 2022 through the Baltimore Magazine’s Best of Baltimore Readers Poll has been truly gratifying.
